Little Gasparilla Island Vacation Rental, Casa Contenta, is ideally situated 500 feet from the Gulf of Mexico and 300 feet from Lemon Bay. The house is a two story, Key West style home with a metal roof and wrap around deck sitting on a double sized lot. Secluded in its wrapping of Palms, hibiscus, birds of paradise, sea grapes, bougainvillea and numerous species of tropical foliage. Well situated with a short walk to either the gulf or the bay.
The back porch is large, screened and shaded from the afternoon sun by large, lush tropical foliage of all sorts. The ceiling fans and the nearby ocean provided perfect calming breezes. The wall of sliding glass doors in the living room open for alfresco dining in a private tropical setting.
Casa Contenta is comfortably furnished with an open floor plan for easy entertaining. The luxurious leather sofas and recliner in the living room are made for lounging. There is a large glass coffee table on wheels for your game-playing, puzzle-solving fun and a well-stocked game closet. A 40' Samsung tv and HD antenna bring you 16 local channels plus a dvd and vcr. We are equipped with a small and growing video and book library to round out your indoor entertainment.
The upstairs master suite opens to double decks with expansive island wide views and cross breezes. From your birds-eye perch you can watch the sun rise, set and suntan through the day in privacy. A Beauty Rest queen bed provides conforming back support and pressure-relieving comfort.
The main floor master suite offers a queen bed with a memory foam top to cradle you in comfort. The bedroom?s sliding glass doors open to the large screened porch surrounded by palm trees and tropical foliage to ensure your days and nights are cool and breezy.
Dock access means you can dock your own or rental boat for your fishing and boating pleasures.
Being cooks ourselves we have stocked the kitchen with every tool, dish, glass, pot, pan, and utensil you could possibly need. We also added a super quiet Bosch dishwasher to make dish duty a breeze. And the new Lg washer and commercial dryer are upstairs inside for easy laundry duties!
Downstairs is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a new propane gas grill and dining table with 6 chairs.
Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and toys are available for that quick stroll to the beach.
The dock, 300? away provides ample room and electricity for your own or rental boat. A large cart is available for easily transporting your things to and from the dock to the house and back.
Golf cart rentals are available on the island. Boat, kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals are available nearby and can be delivered to the dock.
